Spring, Spring upon our door,

The sun came knocking on our floor,

Daisies, Daisies are so blue,

Making art with PVA glue.

Tinkle, tinkle little rain,

drop down into the silver drain.

Easter, Easter,

Easter food.

Pancakes, ice-cream

And chocolate cake!

Spring, Spring is what a great thing.

The children play and the animals lay.

The frogs eat and the children have big feet.

The buzzing bee works all day

to make his honey and his money.

The flowers are bright and what a sight,

but these shorts are too tight!

Today is very sunny

and the bunnies are very funny.

The lamb is looking for her mom,

but she is going craz,y she needs to calm.

The trees are filled with bees

and I fell on my knees.

There are flowers on top of towers

and I have super powers.

The birds are singing and the bell is ringing.

Swallows go, swallows come home

for the great Spring.

Birds sing sweetly and softly,

so do grasshoppers in the green grass.

Buzzing, buzzing, busy bees,

making honey in the trees.

Third/Fourth Class celebrated the Chinese New Year with the Visual Arts!

First they looked at and talked about dragons with respect to size, shape, colour and pattern. Then they constructed their own dragons using collage and created the flame effect using the action painting technique called blow painting.
